The agent can't reach the sibling repository? /add-dir grants a Verboo Code session an extra folder, for now or saved to the project. Command, flag, errors and the variable that makes it read that folder's AGENTS.md.
Verboo Code's /diff shows your uncommitted changes and, separately, what each conversation turn edited. Keys, dialog limits and the 4 cases where it says "Working tree is clean" even with changes.
Create a skill in .verboo/skills/<name>/SKILL.md, check it with /skills and call it with /name. Frontmatter, arguments and how to lock the agent out.

/export pulls the whole Verboo Code conversation out as plain text, to the clipboard or to a .txt in the current folder. Step by step, file naming, clipboard over SSH and tmux, and the git add gotcha.
Verboo Code's /branch copies the conversation up to that point and moves you into the copy, keeping the original intact. Here is the command, how to go back with /resume, --fork-session from the terminal, and the gotcha: it does not copy your code.
/effort sets how much the model reasons before answering. See the commands, where the level is saved, the precedence order and how to use it in CI.
Verboo Code /goal (v0.15.35) stores a persistent objective for the session and re-injects it every turn. Commands, statuses, the blocked rule and where it is stored, verified in the source.
Allow, ask and deny rules in Verboo Code's /permissions: syntax like Bash(npm run test:*), where each rule is saved, and why deny always wins.
Hooks let you plug a shell command, a model-based check, or an HTTP call into any event in a Verboo Code session, no plugin required. See how to configure it in settings.json, why PostToolUse can't block the tool, and how to scope a hook to specific commands with the if field.
Sandboxing isolates the commands the agent runs on its own, using bubblewrap on Linux and native isolation on macOS. See how to enable it with /sandbox, what changes in command approval, and how to add exceptions.
Since version 0.15.30, Verboo Code's /resume picks up sessions created in the Codex CLI and converts the history to native format on the spot. A real walkthrough, verified in the source code.
Verboo Code's /rewind command (alias /checkpoint) restores code and/or conversation to an earlier point in the session. Real walkthrough, verified in the source code.
